Charles
Digital Mayhem's own setup

A familiar assistant when the office computer is out of reach.
Charles is the cloud-hosted member of Digital Mayhem’s internal assistant family.
The deployment record describes a specific need: The owner wanted to reach an assistant from his phone without depending on the office Mac being awake. The cloud installation was built for that access pattern and later renamed Charles.
The recorded acceptance checks include an authenticated response and access to a copy of the working knowledge vault. This provides a documented deployment story, with an important scope distinction: the hosted setup does not automatically inherit the local Mac’s contacts, messaging tools or desktop controls.
For an owner considering a similar arrangement, the conversation starts with which work needs to be available remotely. Charles illustrates that design choice; it is not a promise of universal device access or a separately verified uptime guarantee.
