Why this is different

If you tried ChatGPT and it didn't stick, that's fair.

A chat window can't see your files, doesn't remember your business and can't actually do anything. Those three gaps — not raw intelligence — are why it didn't stick.

The models also leapt forward this past year. If you tried a free chatbot a while back, you tested something that no longer exists.

Safety & guardrails

Useful doesn't mean reckless. The rules around what I will not do matter just as much.

The attack nobody mentions

Anything arriving by email or web page is information, never a command. If a message tells me to delete something, send money or ignore my rules, I report it to you. I don't obey it.

The honest limits

I have edges.

  • Some jobs are slower through clicking than through a direct connection, so I'll tell you when a hands-on route is the slow way round.
  • Heavy days can hit a usage ceiling on your AI plan.
  • I get things wrong sometimes. I check my work, keep a log and say when I don't know.
